To further enhance fire safety awareness among all employees, improve emergency response and self-rescue capabilities, and effectively safeguard lives and property, acme Group organized a comprehensive fire emergency drill today.

Specialized Training on Fire Safety Knowledge

The drill began with a lecture on fire safety. Drawing on typical fire cases, the instructor explained in simple yet thorough terms the causes of fires, the importance of prevention, the principles for responding to fires in their early stages, the functions of various fire safety equipment, and methods for identifying and eliminating fire hazards in daily work and life.

The participants listened intently, gaining a more systematic and scientific understanding of fire safety, which laid a solid theoretical foundation for the subsequent practical exercises.

Simulated Evacuation Drill

As the simulated alarm sounded, the emergency evacuation drill officially began. Personnel from all departments reacted swiftly. Under the direction of evacuation guides, they strictly followed the emergency response plan, adopting proper procedures such as keeping a low profile and covering their mouths and noses, and evacuated quickly and orderly along the designated evacuation routes to the safe assembly area.

The entire process was conducted in a calm and orderly manner, with clearly defined responsibilities and seamless coordination. It effectively tested the feasibility of the emergency response plan and the speed of the personnel’s response, while enhancing organizational coordination and evacuation and self-rescue capabilities in emergency situations.

Practical Training in the Use of Fire Extinguishing Equipment

In the safety zone, fire safety professionals provided a detailed explanation of the construction, operating principles, suitable fire types, and key operating procedures for dry powder and carbon dioxide fire extinguishers, with a special focus on demonstrating the four-step method: “lift, pull, grip, and press.”

Following this, the trainees were divided into groups to conduct hands-on fire extinguishing drills using oil pans. Taking turns to participate, everyone gained firsthand experience and, under the guidance of professionals, successfully extinguished the simulated fire. Through this realistic, hands-on training, employees gained a solid grasp of the correct methods for using fire extinguishers, overcame their psychological fear of fire, and enhanced their practical skills in fighting incipient fires.

This fire drill served not only as a vivid safety education session but also as an effective test of practical capabilities. It reinforced the safety philosophy of “prevention first, combining prevention with firefighting” among all staff, improved their mental resilience and response capabilities when facing sudden fires, and achieved the expected results.

Safety is no trivial matter; prevention is key. acme Group will use this drill as an opportunity to continuously deepen fire safety management, routinely conduct safety education and training as well as hazard inspections, and continuously improve emergency response mechanisms to fortify safety defenses and jointly create a safer, more stable, and harmonious work and living environment.
